Planned Giving
"For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." Matthew 6:21
Planned Giving can be an effective way for donors to support the Christian Education Trust (CET). The process of Planned Giving recognizes the importance of including “Charitable Giving “ in the development of one’s overall comprehensive financial planning. It would tend to incorporate more complex elements of financial planning, estate planning and income tax planning with respect to one’s assets as opposed to simpler methods of current or outright gifts. Planned Giving can often result in greater charitable support plus more favorable tax benefits to donors, families and heirs. However, Planned Giving in it’ simplest form can be as easy as “planning” a bequest to the CET through your Will.
Through Planned Giving it is possible to arrange a generous gift to CET, while at the same time,
guaranteeing yourself an income source you can count on for the rest of your life. This income stream can also provide for your loved ones or dependents. You may also qualify for an immediate tax deduction for the charitable portion of your gift – and the gift may reduce estate taxes as well.
There are many ways to structure this type of giving that include the use of:
- Charitable Gift Annuity
- Charitable Remainder Trust
- Charitable Lead Trust
Each is unique and offer features designed to accommodate specific individual planning objectives and asset management. Generally, the process and the benefits of Planned Giving will be more suitable and appropriate to individuals of greater income and net worth where the amount of the desired gifts are somewhat more substantial.
To assist you in this process and to help you determine what might be appropriate to meet your objectives just fill out the “contact us form” or call us at 1-888-536-5930 and a CET counselor will contact you. The purpose will be to arrange an appointment with you in order to review certain aspects of the CET and to walk you through the process of Planned Giving.
We will work in cooperation with you, your other advisors and /or family members to help you create an effective plan of giving to support the CET today - and to endow a legacy for tomorrow |
