About Us
History of the Christian Education Trust
On November 23,1983, Dr. Richard A. Harris and four members of Bethel Baptist Church were appointedTrustees when they received over $105,000 in assets from Mr. Earl T. McAllister to initiate the principal of the newly formed Bethel Baptist Christian Education Fund (CET). Since then, the CET has provided more than $200,000 in support to Christian education. Also, much groundwork has been laid toward the goal of building of the CET principal to millions of dollars in value in the future. It is becoming increasingly difficult, if not impossible, to support Christian education solely with the revenues from tuition, so the CET plays a vital role.
Each year there is the struggle to meet the operating costs of Upper Bucks Christian School without pricing the tuition beyond the reach of average income families who strongly desire their children to receive a God-honoring education. However, over the years, the diligent undergirding of the CET has allowed UBCS tuition to stay affordable. Now the CET wishes to get the message out to even more concerned people who are interested in ensuring that the Christian Education Trust Fund continues, particularly as economic pressures mount for the parents of future students.
Children educated with biblical standards will make a difference in the future of our country. Their education will secure for them the solid foundation of eternal values. Investors in the CET share the vision that a Christian school graduate can impact the world for Christ. They see their investment as making an eternal difference. For that reason, the Trust Fund will become increasingly effective. Join us, the Trustees, in rejoicing in what the Lord has done thus far with the Christian Education Trust and pray with us that He will continue to bless!
The Christian Education Trust is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service of the Federal Government as a non-profit organization. All gifts are tax deductible. |
